How to change the address on a driving licence online

  1. Go to the official website of Parivahan Sarathi i.e. https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in
  2. Select your current state from the dropdown menu that appeared on the homepage.
  3. A list of different services will be displayed. Click on the “Apply for Change of Address” option.
  4. Tap on the “Continue” button on the Instructions for Application Submission page.
  5. Fill up your DL number, date of birth, and captcha code, and hit the “Get DL Details” button. ALSO READ: How to check road toll price on Google Maps in few simple steps
  6. Your personal information will be shown on the next page. Confirm the details by opting “YES”, select the category of your driving licence, and Enter the Pincode of your present address to auto-pick the concerned RTO. Hit “Continue”.
  7. The page for editing the information will open. Enter your new address, and captcha, and tap the “Continue” button. 
  8. Take a print of your application number.
  9. Upload the prompted documents and pay the fee.
  10. Upon a successful transaction, choose the “Print Receipt” option for future reference. You are all done!
