Ming-Chi Kuo, TFI Securities analyst, predicts that the iPhone 13 lineup will have the same four models similar to the iPhone 12 series – iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Mini, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The screen is said to support 120Hz refresh rate and have a yet smaller notch.  A research note of Kuo obtained by MacRumors hints that the iPhone 13 series is likely to retain the lightning connector and include Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 modem. The 13-lineup could get heavier as Apple will be using a bigger battery this generation. The analyst claims that only the Pro model will get the LiDAR Scanner. The ultra-wide camera sensor could get a wider ƒ/1.8 aperture and autofocus, unlike iPhone 12’s ƒ/2.4 aperture.  We may not witness any iPhone SE until the first half of 2022, said the TFI Securities analyst.
