iQOO Neo6 5G set to launch in India

The iQOO Neo6 5G was launched in China in April 2022 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. With the Indian release, iQOO has swapped it with a Snapdragon 870 SoC instead which means the phone will get a slightly toned-down performance than an SD8 Gen 1 unit for sure. However, don’t be surprised if the difference isn’t astronomical.

The device is latched with an 80W FlashCharge capable of doing a 50% recharge of its dual-cell battery in 12 minutes. Give it some time or watch an episode of The Office US and you should get a day’s worth of thrilling phone experience without any hassle.

iQOO Neo6 5G Expected Specifications and Pricing

According to the expected specifications, the iQOO Neo6 5G is set to arrive with a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz panel. It will have LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There’s a 4,700mAh battery under the hood. The phone along with its Snapdragon 870 SoC uses an Android 12-powered OriginOS Ocean out-of-the-box. There’s a 64MP primary sensor at the back flanked with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor while the front packs in a 16MP selfie snapper housed in a punch-hole cut-out. Talking about the pricing, the device is likely to arrive at an INR 29,000/- price tag or $373 for the entry-level variant while the top-specced variant catches an INR 31,000/- price tag although the exact pricing will be uncovered on May 31st unless there aren’t any more leaks (chuckles).
