The Nothing Phone 1 has a translucent rear panel with a glyph interface at the back, which contains a string of LEDs that blink in various patterns for various notifications, charging alerts, and more. They will also allow you to assign a specific color for a certain caller so that you identify who’s calling by looking at your device. The back has dual camera lenses, and the smartphone is protected by Gorilla Glass. It has square edges, a flat display, and a centralized punch hole camera at the top. The phone is expected to come in white and black colors, but the details about IP Rating are not known yet. On the other hand, OnePlus Nord 2T has a regular solid back that looks standard in comparison to Nothing Phone 1. It features a rectangular camera module with 2 large circles containing 3 camera lenses. The Nothing Phone 1 will sport a 6.55-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, Nord 2T has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. It has a refresh rate of 90Hz and features like HDR10+ support and AI Color Enhancement. In terms of display, Nothing Phone 1 seems to have an edge over Nord 2T.
Nothing Phone 1 Vs OnePlus Nord 2T: Battery & Camera
Nothing Phone 1 will have a 4500mAh battery with 33W PD fast charging support, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. OnePlus Nord 2T has a 4500mAh battery as well, but there is support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. There is no wireless or reverse wireless charging here. Though battery capacity is most probably the same for both phones, in terms of fast charging, Nord 2T has an edge over Nothing Phone 1. Coming to the camera department, Nothing Phone 1 has a dual-camera setup at the back. It will have two 50MP main camera lenses which claim to give good photography. Dual image stabilization is expected with scene detection and night mode. On the other hand, OnePlus Nord 2T has a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. It comes with LED flash, slow motion, dual view video, and more. As for the front camera, Nothing Phone 1’s selfie camera is still under wraps whereas Nord 2T has a 32MP selfie camera.
Nothing Phone 1 Vs OnePlus Nord 2T: RAM/Memory
Nothing Phone 1 will have 3 storage variants- 8GB RAM+128GB, 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage. The OnePlus Nord 2T also has 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage options. This one also doesn’t have a microSD card slot. So in terms of RAM and memory, both are the same.
Nothing Phone 1 Vs OnePlus Nord 2T: Performance (OS & Chipset)
The Nothing Phone 1 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset while the OnePlus Nord 2T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset. Nothing Phone 1 will run Android 12 with Nothing OS and Glyph interface to make use of LEDs at the back. The UI will be close to stock. OnePlus Nord 2T runs Android 12 with OxygenOS user interface over the top. It is different from stock Android in terms of menus, settings, and all though it is a clean experience with very less bloatware. Both the phones come with a variety of connectivity options. Nothing Phone 1 will have WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G LTE, and 5G connectivity. Whereas OnePlus Nord 2T will have 4G LTE, 5G, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. There is no headphone jack in Nord 2T.

The Nothing Phone (1) has a Snapdragon processor, a larger display, and a unique design with a clean OS. As for Nord 2T, it has better-charging support, a triple rear camera setup, and alert slider to withstand the competition. So if you are someone who wants an entirely new experience, without budget being a concern, then Nothing Phone (1) is for you. However, if you are someone who is looking for a mid-ranger at decent price, then you can go for OnePlus Nord 2T.
