Cheaper Flagship smartphones range soon?

Popular tipster Digital Chat Station (via Weibo) claims that OnePlus will soon launch a new smartphone series that will focus on gaming and performance but will be based in an affordable price range. Although the chances of these phones having Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is bleak, others like Snapdragon 888+, Snapdragon 870, MediaTek Dimensity 1200, or the Dimensity 9000 could be a part of the phones. This new line-up of OnePlus will aim to compete with Xiaomi, IQOO, and even its own Nord models and “R” models, that fall under Rs. 40,000 in India. OnePlus might give flagship chipsets to these new phones, but other departments might see compromises like camera specs limited,  lack of IP rating or wireless charging, build quality, and more.
