OneWeb is currently building a constellation of 648 LEO satellites and has already launched 322 of them. The service will be available this year in Alaska, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The satellites already in orbit are being tested for connectivity. Resulting in seamless satellite and beam handover, high speeds, and low latency, the results are positive. A binding agreement will be drafted between OneWeb and NSIL as soon as their respective boards approve the Letter of Intent. “OneWeb will be delighted to use ISRO’s proven platforms to fulfill its vision of taking broadband connectivity across the earth, oceans, and sky.
