Well, this falls in line with some rumors that the Oppo Fold (or whatever its name will be) is likely to debut this November. But, nothing’s confirmed as of now, and let’s not get ahead of ourselves and take a look at what we have.

Oppo Fold Design and Details

A new patent filed for a foldable smartphone by Oppo has been spotted on CNIPA and the images will remind you of the prototype that the company showed back in 2019. The images above show how Oppo’s first foldable phone could look like. The power button and the volume up/down buttons are on the right side of the device. These could not be placed on the left as that’s perhaps where the device’s exterior display would be. The smartphone is expected to have an external folding display like the one seen in Huawei’s Mate X Series. So it is suggested to take things with a slight grain of salt till Oppo itself announces things.
