Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to have a 200MP camera?

One of the major upgrades is being tipped in the camera department, wherein the S23 Ultra is being claimed to come with a 200MP main rear sensor. Now, these rumors have gotten an even more solid base with reliable tipster Ice Universe, confirming the same. The leakster claims that he is 100% sure that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200MP main camera on the back that will have a size of 1/1.3 inches and have larger sized pixels and a larger aperture as well. The previous generation of Galaxy S22 Ultra had a 108MP main camera at the back. So, this 200MP camera will be a massive upgrade from its predecessor. Moreover, the sensor on the S23 Ultra will also be slightly larger than the sensor seen in Apple iPhone 14 Pro’s 48MP camera. It is not likely to be the HP1 or HP3 sensors that were announced previously. There are chances that this 200MP sensor could be exclusively customized for the next true Samsung flagship.

No upgrades in design/display

Ice Universe on Weibo claimed that the upcoming S23 Series will retain the display size and screen resolution of the current S22 Series. He also claimed that smartphones will look identical to their predecessor. The same can be seen in the concept renders shared by Technizo Concept as well. The display sizes are expected to be as follows-

Galaxy S23- 6.1-inch Galaxy S23 Plus- 6.6-inchGalaxy S23 Ultra- 6.8-inch

The display sizes will be the same though there can be upgrades in terms of higher brightness, lower power consumption, and more. The expected dimensions of the Galaxy S23 Series have also been tipped-

Galaxy S23- 146.3X70.9X7.6mmGalaxy S23 Plus- 157.8×76.2×7.6mmGalaxy S23 Ultra- 163.4×78.1×8.9mm

If these dimensions come out to be true, then the S23 Series models will be slightly longer and wider than the existing models. The design is expected to be the same and the smartphones are said to pack the same 5000mAh battery as well. More will be known as 2023 draws closer.
