New features in One UI 4.0 are-
Customizations One UI 4 has arranged colors and text so users can understand information intuitively. They have simplified the color system and readjusted the font size and thickness. It aims to give a clearer and more cohesive visual experience. The new version has organized information into a system of streamlined, updated cards to enable easier use. They have used separate colors according to functionalities. Red is associated with ideas of stop, delete, remove, reject or decrease so these functions are visible in Red. Brightness and saturation levels have been enhanced as well. Optimal negative spaces have been created by altering the dynamics of font size and thickness as per need. Changes have been made to the Weather app, Calendar app, Samsung Health app, Samsung Wallet, and more which make their use easier. Safe and Secure UI Keeping information safe has been given importance in One UI 4. This is because it allows the user to relax knowing that their personal information won’t leak without their consent. Emphasis has also been on making use of devices comfortable for people. Dark mode reduces visual fatigue and a consistent visual design has been applied to provide comfortable usability across multiple devices. Users will be able to check when the camera or microphone is turned on with an icon. Permission Dashboard will show where and how often camera, microphone, and location data have been used.
