Tata Motor Cars Price Hiked

To tackle the rising problem of input cost, Tata Motors has hiked the prices of its cars and other passenger vehicle models by at least 1.1%. The new pricing scheme is applicable from April 23. But to give relief to the customers who have booked their Tata vehicles earlier to April 23, old prices will be charged to them. But Tata Motors had also decreased the prices of specific models by up to Rs 10,000. For commercial vehicles, Tata Motors had previously increased the prices by 2 to 2.5 per cent which was implemented across the country from April 1.  ALSO READ: Mahindra will launch three new concept electric SUVs in July; Design revealed In another news, the company is gearing to host a launch event on April 29 and it is anticipated to be the arrival of the Nexon EV long-range variant. While the details about the upcoming Nexon EV are not yet revealed, the electric car has been spotted on Indian roads for testing. Though the long-range variant of Nexon EV is said to pack a 40kW battery to offer up to 400km of distance range on a single charge. It could be priced between Rs 16 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. The current Nexon EV is selling from Rs 14.54 lakh onwards.
